Virtual Health Coach

Led the development of an AI-powered iPad application for patients at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) in Singapore, coordinating between nursing teams, backend engineering, and remote camera crews. The Virtual Health Coach uses RAG-based AI to pull from hospital documentation and answer patient queries: from visiting hours and best practices to medication information and do's and don'ts. The main technical challenge was building a cohesive experience combining panoramic 3D spaces, real-time AI interactions, and high-quality graphics within iOS's constrained environment. The result is an immersive patient companion that offloads routine queries from nursing staff, giving them more time to focus on direct patient care.
